Wishlist

For many of our Garden Center clients, one of their annual highlight is getting to fulfill a big wish that they have discussed with our staff. The agency’s commitment to making these wishes come true is a very real and visible example of how we are living up to our mission. There are bulletin boards listing the wishes displayed in both of our day programs that serve as a daily reminder of the aspirations we still need to meet. Given our stringent funding from the state, we must rely on the generous assistance of private donors to successfully realize most of the wishes.

Granting a wish is simple and generally inexpensive. Here are a few ideas of how you could help sponsor a wish today:

• Tickets: Extra tickets to sports, concerts or other entertainment events make great trips for clients. Simply contact us at info@gardencenterservices.org if you'd like to donate any amount of tickets.
• Small Cash Donations: Organizing wish trips costs time and resources. A small donation will go a long way in assisting with the transportation, food or admission expenses involved in each wish.
• Your Talent: Do you have a skills or talents in the arts or performance areas? Volunteer your time and satisfy the wish of Garden Center clients eager to express themselves.
